Discovering what I want in life...

boldandnoble screen print poster on etsy

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately about what I want out of life and am having a really good time coming up with stuff. So far, this is what I've got...

- have a successful, inspiring, and fun blog with a wide audience and bigg sponsers

- make amazing things to sell on etsy

- learn to silkscreen

- learn more and play around with photography

- expand my wardrobe into something fun, funky, colorful, and unique - feel good about my style
- have amazing photoshoots in glamorous outfits in fantastically everyday locations

- do my grocery shopping at a farmer's market with my boyfriend

- become a vegetarian

- practice yoga

- experience Burning Man

- be a part of design trade shows in some way

- have friends and family over to my boyfriend and I's amazing house all the time for movies, dinner, and chickenfoot (addicting domino game)

- go running

- film little random documentaries

- switch over from pc to mac (I never thought I'd say that!)

- learn how to knit fun stuff (not just 6 inch raggedy strips that I give up on after 3 days)

- plant a garden

- become fluent in Spanish

- learn the beauty of figure drawing

- start to journal and doodle everyday adventures, thoughts, and ideas

More to come I'm sure - but as for right now, I'm really looking forward to my life!

  1. Looks like you have a great focus and we all know you've got the drive baby! Let me know if you want any help/support on the vegetarian goal, I've been going strong for over 10 years!! And let me know when you're free to get coffee or tea sometime. XOXO

  3. You go gurl! Sounds like good things to have goin on in your life. If you want I can teach you to silkscreen now! I'm in the process of setting up shop in my tiny studio and I am taking intermediate printmaking with a focus on silkscreen spring semester!
Some friends and I have made a pact that we are going to make it to Burning Man this year...perhaps we could go together!
